All of the following 8 interactive trainings
are offered on Saturdays & Sundays | 10:00 – 17:30
Each is standalone and independent of the others, yet they are mutually supportive.
They work best in the pairs they are presented in below,
(e.g. ‘Triggered?’ on a Saturday, then ‘From Conflict to Connection’ the next day (Sunday))
rather than mix and match between adjacent pairs.

Practical questions?
We try to cater for various learning styles and make them as interactive and experiential as we can.
So, in each, we balance teaching, practicing and facilitating individual and group processes, games, role plays, exercises, meditations and body based activities.
How much of each varies with topic.
You can find out about what we explore in each of the training days on the specific event pages linked above.
The schedule for each trainings day is:
- Arrival from 9:40 for meet and greet.
- Begin when all are present, otherwise no later than 10:10.
- Finish sometime between 17:15 and 17:45.
- At least 1 hour break for lunch, soon after 13:00, with 2 shorter breaks morning and afternoon.
- Teas, snacks and kitchen facilities available (fridge, cooker etc.).
For lunch, you can bring your own, or, depending on the location, either order a home-cooked meal or visit local cafes, shops, and restaurants.
Most (but not all) venues have a variety of single, twin and double bedrooms available.
How to book will be posted once topics and dates confirmed
For example, without having completed a foundational training like ‘Communicate to Connect’ or 'A Language of Life', can I attend the other ones, like ‘Empathy Essentials’ or ‘Speak Your Truth’?
Yes, you are welcome to join.
At the same time, prior attendance to a ‘Communicate to Connect’ or 'A Language of Life' training is helpful.
This is primarily for two reasons:
- Several trainings (e.g. ‘Speak Your Truth’) build on the foundational skills learnt in those trainings. Many of these are not covered in other NVC trainings or in Marshall Rosenberg’s books or recordings.
- Having previously participated in a foundational training means we have already journeyed together in this way. This gives us a head start on building a sense of community, deeper connection, trust, and emotional safety when we do following trainings.
The first 2 days - TRIGGERED? and FROM CONFLICT TO CONNECTION - do not teach NVC. Instead they draw from several modalities (including NVC) to support us to transform reactivity and conflict respectively. They show us practical ways to apply NVC in our lives.
This way, there is a clear use and context for the trainings that follow.
The 3rd to 8th days - everything from COMMUNICATE TO CONNECT up to THE GIFT OF NO - certainly are NVC trainings. The content is similar to what would usually be covered in both NVC foundations and intermediate trainings. But rather than divide them in this way, they each focus on a certain topic... and have been designed so that no previous experience is required for any of them, and yet doing more days supports a more integrated understanding - like putting together pieces of a puzzle.
If you choose to attend just Saturdays you will cover the foundational NVC material comprehensively.
Roughly speaking, the Sundays are more intermediate, though don't necessarily require the foundations.
This whole approach aims to make them more accessible and applicable to more people.
And, for those interested in CNVC certification, they all count as days.
